Why this competition?

At Skyfi Labs, we believe that projects play a very critical role in shaping a good engineer. Students who do good projects in their college days have better engineering skills and stand apart from others in the placements and in their jobs. It is the vision of Skyfi Labs to create better engineers through projects and project based courses.

This competition is to encourage students who are making use of their 'Final Year Projects' in the best way. We wish to identify students doing good projects and reward them for their good work.

Competition Structure

Stage 1: Registration

Submit the details of your project by 31st December 2015.

Stage 2: Shortlisting

Shortlisting would be done by public who will vote for the best projects. Voting can be done by any person visiting our website. Top projects from here will be shortlisted for the next stage.

Stage 3: Completion of the project

Shortlisted teams would continue and complete their projects. Our team of experts will mentor and guide the students in this process and help them in completing it.

Stage 4: Finals

A panel of judges comprising of experts from industry and academia will review the projects and select the winners.

Prize

₹ 25,000 to the top performing team.

Important Dates

  • Submission of project idea and team details: 11:59 PM, 31 December 2015
  • Voting for selection of top projects: 11:59 PM, 15 January 2016
  • Announcements of top projects from voting round: 21 January 2016
  • Submission of final working models: 11:59 PM, 31 March 2016
  • Announcement of prizes: 15 April 2016

Revision

Any revisions to the scope of the competition will be updated on our website immediately. All participants are requested to keep checking this page for the same.

Terms

  1. 1 team can submit only 1 project idea
  2. 1 team can have maximum of 5 members
  3. The project should be a part of their Final Year Project students are doing as per their academic requirements
  4. All participants should belong to their final (4th) year of engineering
  5. Competition is open only for engineering students
  6. Voting can be done by any person visiting our website
  7. Top projects selected from Stage 2 (Shortlisting) will be done purely based on the number of votes
  8. All communication to participants shall be done via email (Please provide correct email ids while registering)
  9. Skyfi Labs shall possess the right to eliminate any team at any stage if the rules are violated/ due to misconduct
  10. Judges decision will be considered final in all stages
