Wind turbines are considered to be 59% efficient but the construction of a feasible wind turbine is very costly since we have to maintain the large spacing between two turbines and the size is exceptionally very large.

Wind energy is an efficient and emerging field of power generation since high power can be generated without many losses compared to other types of power generation. Wind energy is extracted from the blowing winds which hit the turbine blades causing them to rotate along their axis.

Wind is a random phenomenon because of the many flow situations arising from the interaction of wind with structures. The turbulence of strong winds in the lower levels of the atmosphere arises from interaction with surface features. An outcome of the turbulence is that dynamic loading on a structure depends on the size of eddies. Large eddies, comparable with the structure introduces correlated pressure as they envelope with the structure.
