In this project you are going a make a transparent window solar panel in which there are tiny silicon particle in the form of quantum dots. Which passing the sunrays ir will bounce back following the principle of total internal reflection. Those quantum dots only absorb shorter wavelength. You might wonder then where is the solar panel. Solar panels are on the edge of the window which will absorb light by TOI.

  • Transparent glass: It's not only glass but its also has tiny silicon particles in the form of quantum dots. Which absorbs uv and shorter wavelength rays and those rays are guided at the edge of the glass.
