Pedestrian detection using MATLAB

The main purpose of this MATLAB project is to identify the Pedestrians on the road. Since it is somehow difficult to identify the pedestrians during day and nights. This helps us to find a solution. By using Matlab software the project is handled. Implementation of this project brought to bring a driverless car. Developing this project makes more importance in the driverless car where it detects the pedestrians and counter the car. Nowadays this became more important in auto motives to improve the safety system.

Introduction

Image or to extract some information from it there are two types of methods used for image processing, they are analogue processing and digital processing. Analogue processing can be used for hard prints like print outs and photograph. Digital image processing helps in performing digital images by computers.

An image is two dimensional, gesture. It can be explained by the arithmetical function f(x, y), where x and y are the two coordinates. Most of the pedestrians can be seen on the roads, so pedestrian detection in the vehicle helps us to avoid hitting the people causes serious injuries to the pedestrian and the vehicle person. This method is very important in any video observation system. Nowadays pedestrian detection has become an important task in auto motives.

Using digital computing techniques in auto motives as brought the wide range of security and safe methods to the people.in the pedestrian system the image sensor process is used to detect the pedestrians and sense signal to the processing unit which performs the actual to control the freedom.

People Detector defines and sets up our people detector object using the constructor.

Call the step process with the input image, I, and the person detector object, person Sensor.

This MATLAB project explains the importance of pedestrian detection in the auto motives, as it avoids the major complication on the road. Pedestrian detection works under Matlab software Simulink model. Development of this concept in nowadays auto motives became the most important task.
