Outcome: The project aims at finding a better and sustainable solution to the ever growing energy crisis using piezoelectricity Description: Piezoelectric materials have a unique property of transforming mechanical energy into electrical energy . Thus the project includes piezoelectric crystals which upon the application of mechanical stress, produce an alternating voltage across it, which on passing through a full wave rectifier gives a proper DC voltage source, which can be amplified using an op-amp. This energy can be directly stored in capacitors or rechargeable batteries.
