Wheel Chair Using EMG Signals For Paralyzed Patients
The wheel chair thus developed will move in the focused direction based on the muscle activity. The wheel chair is attached with two DC motors( for the movement of wheelchair ) for different conditions. As soon as the potential is sensed from the upper trapezius muscles of the neck the chair moves accordingly with flexion and lateral rotation. This system is also incorporated with the MEMS technology, and object detection system to avoid collision thereby reducing the complexity of the system. Also eliminates stair climbing contradiction.
