Am I eligible to compete in this challenge?

Anyone who is passionate towards Computer Vision technology can participate in this challenge. What needed is a strong desire to develop and showcase Computer Vision technical skills to the world.

What type of Computer Vision project should I build to compete in this challenge?

Your Computer Vision project can be done using any image processing algorithms. You can also use various microcontrollers like Arduino, Raspberry Pi etc to demonstrate your computer vision project. Your computer vision project can be developed based on either software or hardware. In technical terms, your project should use image processing algorithms and should perform any functionalities with computer vision operations. You can come up with any kind of Computer Vision based project, but the better innovation you implement better will be your chance of winning. Note: Your Computer Vision based project should be designed and built all by yourself (no readymade project prototypes should be used).

What is the last date to register for the challenge?

You need to register and submit your video before 11:59 PM, 23 August. Any applications after 12:00 AM will be rejected by default.

Any format should be followed to shoot the video?

You need to shoot a clear demonstration video. And the video can have a maximum run time of 10 mins. Your video should have 3 parts,

1. Introduction about yourself (or the team)
2. Explanation about the various components & technologies you used to build your Computer Vision project
3. Demonstration of your Computer Vision project's working and applications

You can upload the video on YouTube and submit us the url.

We are a team, how can we register?

One member from the team can register for the challenge. If adjourned as the winner, we will contact to get your team members details and provide individual certificates. Note: Any duplicate submission will not be taken into evaluation.

How and when will the results be declared?

All the video submissions will be evaluated by industrial & educational experts and results will be declared by 29 August, 2019. You will be intimated via email and SMS about the awards you won.

What type of awards will be provided?

The winners of the challenge will be getting a cash award of upto Rs.5000. And special awards will be given to applicants who have implemented innovative mechanisms on their Computer Vision project. Certificate of appreciation will be provided to all who meets the minimum evaluation requirement.

We are not ready with our Computer Vision project yet. Can we get an extension?

This Computer Vision Fest Challenge ends on 23, August itself. No extensions will be provided. You can build your Computer Vision project and keep it ready, we will intimate you once we launch the challenge again. All the best.
