Am I eligible to compete in this challenge?

Anyone who is passionate towards robotics can participate in this challenge. What needed is a strong desire to develop and showcase robotics skills to the world.

What type of robot should I build to compete in this challenge?

Your robot can fall into any category from legged to wheeled. And can have any kind of actuation mechanism. But the better innovation you implement better will be your chance of winning. Note: Your robot should be designed and built all by yourself (no readymade robots should be used).

What is the last date to register for the challenge?

You need to register and submit your video before 11:59 PM, 27 Sep. Any applications after 12:00 AM, 28 Sep will be rejected by default.

Any format should be followed to shoot the video?

You need to shoot a clear demonstration video. And the video can have a maximum run time of 10 mins. Your video should have 3 parts,

1. Introduction about yourself (or the team)
2. Explanation about the various components & technologies you used to build your robot
3. Demonstration of your robot's working and applications

You can upload the video on YouTube and submit us the url.

We are a team, how can we register?

One member from the team can register for the challenge. If adjourned as the winner, we will contact to get your team members details and provide individual certificates. Note: Any duplicate submission will not be taken into evaluation.

How and when will the results be declared?

All the video submissions will be evaluated by industrial & educational experts and results will be declared by 27 Sep, 2019. You will be intimated via email and sms about the awards you won.

What type of awards will be provided?

The winner of the challenge will be getting a cash award of Rs.5000. And special awards will be given to applicants who have implemented innovative mechanisms on their robots. Certificate of appreciation will be provided to all who meets the minimum evaluation requirement.

We are not ready with our robot yet. Can we get an extension?

This Robo Fest Challenge ends on 27, Sep itself. No extensions will be provided. You can build your robot and keep it ready, we will intimate you once we launch the challenge again. All the best.
