Outcome: we propose a Smart help electronic stick for blind with enhancement which really shows the protection for blind people in the street. We use GPS and GSM system and also ultrasonic sensors with a Bluetooth earphone in designing the electronic stick.
Description: God gifted sense of visualization to the human being is an main aspect of our life. But there are some unlucky people who lack the ability of visualizing things. There is just about 284 millions people in the plant are blind in 2014 according to World Health Organization (WHO). Majority of them are using a conservative white cane to help in direction-finding. The drawback in white cane is that the information’s are gain by touching the objects by the tip of the cane. The usually span of a white cane depends on the tallness of user and it expand from the floor to the person’s sternum. So we’ll design ultrasoinc sensor to detect all kinds of barriers whatever its shape or height and warn him with vibration. Blind people also face huge problems in moving from place to another place and the only way for them is Guide dogs which can cost about 30, 000 and they can be useful for about 5 – 6 years So we’ll design GPS for blind person which help him in travelling from place to another place in the town with voice orders for directions and he will recognize the place he want to go with voice only not require to type any thing. But we want also to help him in moving indoor or outdoor places he goes every day from place to another place. We’ll design an indoor navigation system depend on working offline to help him to move from location to another in specific places park, home, libraries, garden…...etc. also by voice guidelines.
