About the project

As a mechanical engineer, we have always learned about properties and behavior of different materials under development of heat. Study of materials under different temperatures is very important and the analysis is not limited only to the production of mechanical application but analysis involves where ever there is a material used and different temperatures involved. As an example, a gulf country completely differs from temperature condition in sub-continent or an African country.

There are many science and engineering marvels which have advantageously helped the world in solving complex issues and requirements or need of the moment. Considering example as an automobile, a bulb, Google search engine and the list is infinite. One of the marvels which are trending in the 21st century is a 3 – Dimensional printing machine.

We are well aware of the fact that the required properties and characteristics for a certain application cannot be obtained from a single material for example glass is an insulator but it is not ductile so any impact would generate stress in the glass and lead to the formation of cracks in the glass causing failure or breakage.

About the project

As discussed in our previous project (Zero-G Printer), the importance and impact of 3d printing and we also discussed the reason for considering this technology as revolutionary. As very well said, 3d printers will change the world and the effects of the 3d printers are already seen.

Geological modeling process advanced into many stages like paper recording and charting. In the past, interpretation and analysis of geological data are done with the representation of 2-dimensional models. This procedure was more time consuming and tedious.

HR managers in big companies are facing difficulties in hiring the right candidate for a particular job profile due to the high volume of applications. Also, the hiring process takes lots of time and workforce. Data mining techniques can be used in the hiring process to overcome this problem. In this data mining project, you will learn to build a model that will help the Human resource department to shortlist the right candidate for a particular job position.

This model will predict the personality of the candidate based on the details provided in the resume/CV. Personality prediction system selects the best candidate by ranking the CV based on the candidate’s experience, skillset, qualification, and other important aspects that are required for the job position. 

Basically, the personality prediction system extracts the unstructured data from resumes and transforms it into a structured format. And ranks the resumes based on the job description provided by the company comparing with the extracted information.

STEM is a combination of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. In this STEM activity for kids, we are going to make a cloud in a jar.
