What is this workshop about?

In this hands-on training program, you will learn to develop a computer vision based text scanner that can scan any text from an image using the optical character recognition algorithm and display the text on your screen. After learning concepts behind the image processing technology, you will use the Python language to develop a computer vision text scanner application. Using this project, you can scan any text from an image kept at any orientation and display them on your computer screen.

By doing this computer vision based text scanner workshop, you will get practical hands-on experience on various image processing algorithms like image thresholding, image perspective transformation, and optical character recognition.
