There should a proper system which can control the speed of the trains and detect it notify to the officials that the train is in danger. What is PID Controller?

A proportional integral derivative controller is a type of mechanism which uses its algorithm to calculate the potential errors all the time in the system. It gives feedback to the system whether to increase or decrease the speed of the train. Nowadays, the PID controller is used universally in all the applications for accurate and optimized control.

The speed of the train is regularly monitored by the PID which gives feedback to the system. The project is developed to monitor the forward course gain of the high speeding train. The traditional handbook is less efficient and works very slow but the new PID technology is more efficient and works very fast. MATLAB will prove to be a useful tool in developing such applications which can manipulate physical quantities.

The high-speed rail speed has its own built-in signalling. They are electrically driven with the help of overhead lines and it has no level crossings.
